Continue to use your current Visa Card until August 8, 2011 and then…
On or after August 8, 2011, activate your new MasterCard! Follow the directions on the sticker attached to your MasterCard; or, if you prefer, you may perform any
PIN based transaction with your new MasterCard and new PIN and your MasterCard will be activated
instantly. It’s that easy!
If you have automatic payments linked to your old Visa card number…
Your new MasterCard will have a new number and expiration date so be sure to contact those merchants
with your new MasterCard number and expiration date to ensure continuous service.

WHAT IS CHANGING?
Q: Why are you replacing my existing Visa Cash and Check Card with a MasterCard Cash and Check Card?
A: We’ve partnered with MasterCard to better serve you. In partnering with MasterCard we can now offer two new
card features: PIN-based purchases and a Buyer’s Reward Program.
Q: How do I use my new MasterCard for PIN-based purchases?
A: Use your MasterCard as a “debit card” and enter your PIN. Before accepting the amount due, you may add “cash
back” to your purchase and save a trip to the ATM. There are no fees associated with this transaction.
Q: Where can I use my new MasterCard? A: Your new MasterCard offers acceptance for purchases at millions of places where MasterCard is accepted.
Q: Can I still use my old Visa Card? A: Your old Visa Card will work until August 8, 2011. On or after August 8, 2011, you will activate your new
MasterCard and you can cut up your old Visa Card and discard it.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
Q: What do I need to do?
A: Watch for your new MasterCard to arrive in the mail in a few weeks. Your new PIN should arrive in the mail one to
two days after you receive your new MasterCard. Then, on August 8, 2011 activate your new MasterCard and
begin using it wherever MasterCard is accepted.
Q: How do I activate my new MasterCard?
A: On or after August 8, 2011, you can: 1.) make a PIN-based transaction (a purchase or ATM withdrawal) with
your MasterCard or 2.) call 21st Century Bank at 763-767-2178 for assistance.
Q: Will my PIN remain the same?
A: No. In order to protect the security of your account, a new PIN will be issued along with the new MasterCard.
Your PIN should arrive in the mail one to two days after you receive your new MasterCard.
Q: What should I do about charges automatically billed to my old Visa Card?
A: You must provide your new MasterCard number to companies (such as online service providers, health clubs, etc)
that automatically bill your cash and check card.
Q: How do I change my new PIN to something that I can remember?
A: You may change your PIN at any 21st Century Bank ATM. You may call (763) 767-2178 or visit
our Locations Page for a list of the 21st Century Bank ATM locations.
